this will be a walkthru (with pics) on the basic control tower installation and a brief overview of the tower's control panel.

this will be specific to alasiya and how structures are coded, so may not be what you remember from live years ago.


quick-n-dirty guide:

fly to moon you wish to place tower
drop tower
rclick tower and select 'anchor structure'
* the tower will move to the anchor orbit of the moon. this is different than the moon's warp-in point.
you will be given a bookmark, and your ship will automagically warp to tower's anchor location


wait for anchoring to complete.
your tower will show you time remaining.


tower control management window can be opened while tower is anchoring.
you can also add fuel and set your password while anchoring


once anchoring is complete, you can online your tower, provided you have proper fuel and a valid password
tower status will show in mgmt window


after tower has come online and you have a password set up, the force field will activate.
this will reject any ship from entering the tower's sphere of influence (SOI) (NOTE: this is currently incomplete)
